Suzanne's Perfect Prime Rib Roast

Early in the morning...Bring roast to room temperature. Preheat oven to 375. Cover prime rib with soy sauce. Press crushed garlic, salt and pepper onto prime rib creating a crust. Put prime rib in oven and bake for 45-1 hour. Turn off oven. DO NOT OPEN OVEN! Tape oven shut so that no one opens the oven....Leave roast in oven for several hours. One hour and a half before serving...turn on the oven to 375. Cook roast for another 45-1 hour. Take out roast and allow to sit for 15 minutes before carving. Serve with au jus (small jug vs. packet if you can find it) and creamy horseradish (Suzanne likes fresh). Be prepared for garlic smell overtaking you and your whole house! Love you and have fun!
